Since school was back in session, the current carillon students provided tours and answered questions about the carillon during the concert.
The carillon alumni enjoyed visiting with each and sharing carillon stories.
The Carillon Society provided ice cream for the audience and just anyone walking by. Vanilla, chocolate, chocolate sundae, strawberry sundae, birthday cake, or rootbeer float ice cream cups! Whew - it was a few too many choices for some of the visitors.
Unfortunatley, we forgot to save any for our guest carilloneur: Julianne Vanden Wyngaard, from Grand Rapids, Michigan. Luckily Dr. Tam took her out for ice cream aftewards.
